Ouch, ouch, damned splint!
Nothing broken - but I apparently have a bitchin' case of tendonitis in my right thumb (and I'm massively right-hand dominant). So tonight I'm into one of these splints that supports/immobilizes the injured digit, and learning that 35 years of touch-typing means that my right index finger can do a pretty good job subbing for the thumb. Probably means I'll get t'itis in that one next. Remember, I agree totally with the Wicked song entitled No Good Deed Goes Unpunished.
In other cases of health issues of the Middle-aged Crones with Big Earrings (they go well with the shorter hair), the jumbo left-side nasal polyp got another dose of steriods via my buttocks, but this time I have follow-up oral stuff to go with it. Hopefully I can stave off the surgery some months - I know it's out-patient and all that, but I'm not crazy about the whole deal.
Back to the post title - it's in keeping, I feel, with the spirit of BAM's latest post. Be sure to go read VDH's post that she links to. I'm so glad Precious is planning on science/tech major.
Well, before my hand kicks in on the cramp it's threatening, I'll see ya'll later. Cheers!
